ประวัติ ห้องสมุดประชาชนจังหวัดนนทบุรี
ห้องสมุดประชาชนจังหวัดนนทบุรี ตั้งอยู่ด้านหลังอาคารพิพิธภัณฑ์ ข้างศาลากลางหลังเก่า ถนนประชาราษฎร์ ตำบลสวนใหญ่ อำเภอเมืองนนทบุรี จังหวัดนนทบุรี แต่เดิมเปิดทำการครั้งแรกในปี พ.ศ. 2494 อาคารชั้นล่างของแผนมหาดไทยด้านริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา ปี พ.ศ. 2498 ได้สร้างอาคารห้องสมุดประชาชนจังหวัดนนทบุรีขึ้นบนหลุมหลบภัยทางอากาศ ริมถนนด้านหน้าที่ทำการเทศบาลเมืองนนทบุรี ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ จัดสรรงบประมาณในการนี้เป็น จำนวนเงิน 60,000 บาท

Museum and Training Center of Thai Traditional Medicine
This center complex consists of 9 houses of Thai architectural concrete buildings designed by Professor, Dr. Pinyo Suwankiri, the national artist in visual art branch, it is the museum displaying the exhibition of Thai Traditional Medicine Evolution and the application of Thai knowledge or wisdom in daily life. There are herbal sauna and massage therapy and massage for relaxation. Wat Khemaphirataram Rajvaraviharn
This monastery was previously called ?Wat Khema? or ?Wat Khenma?, it is an old monastery under the king?s patronage since the initial days of Ayutthaya Capital, in the great Chedi of Stupa, Lord Buddha?s ash was contained. Visitors always pay homage to Sri Ariyamettrai and Phra Inplaeng Buddha Images which are old ones moved from Chankasem Palace. There are royal residential places while ordained so called ?Phra Tamnak Daeng? and Munmonthian Pavilion. Marshal Por. Wat Chaloemphrakiat Varaviharn
This monastery was built by the order of King Rama III on the place used to be the house of his grand parents whereby his grand father was a governor of this city. It is the sole monastery with surrounding wall similarly to that of the grand palace. The water in this portion of Chao Phraya is regarded a sacred water used in the important royal ceremonial performance. The monastery houses the temple built in Sino-Thai architecture with the very beautiful wall painting. At present, it also the establishment of the royal statue monument of King Rama III or King Jesadabodin and always used as the background scene of Thai movies of raja or old royal stories. Wat Chotikaram
This monastery was previously ?Wat Sam Chin?. Within its temple and the vihara or pavilion, there are murals or wall paintings made in King Rama III?s reign. The gable of the church is adorned with China ware and stucco on Phuritat Jataka story. It is monastery with cool shadow covering, cool breeze, suitable for Dharma practice of Buddhists. Wat Prasat
This monastery used to be a military camp in Ayutthaya reign , within it, there is an old temple built in style of Maha-Ud (Single door only without any other opening else) and there is wall painting of Dosajataka (Lord Buddha?s ten previous lives) by classically skill painter of primitive Nonthaburi Art School, in the sermon hall, there is a beautiful raised seat for the monk?s preaching, built in Autthaya age. Wat Chomphuwek
This monastery was previously ?Wat Chomphu Wiwek?, built in 1757 by Mon minority fled away from Burmese troop. Their ancestors came to settle community in this area . Within its church, there is the picture of the Land Goddess squeezing water out of her long hair bun, believed to be the most beautiful one in the world , in the monastery area, there is a Chedi in Raman Style so called ?Phra Mutao? built by a group of Mon monks who came in 1917 from the lost Mon State, it is presumed that Phra Mutao contains Lord Buddha?s ash within, this monastery used to be the place the monks consecrated amulets or talismans to Thai soldiers before entering the battlefield in King Rama I?s reign. Wat Sanghathan
This monastery was previously called ?Wat Sarikho? having Luang Pho To Buddha Image as the main Buddha Image of the Church. It had been abandoned before Ayutthaya?s 2nd collapse under Burmese invasion. It was used as the place to give food and other requisites distributed to monks via a lottery process so it is called Wat Sanghathan (Donation to monks),. At present, this monastery has its glassy temple and the place for Dharma practice of general Buddhists. Tel. 0-2447-0766.

City Hall of Nonthaburi (Old One)
This place used to be the King?s College of the Ministry of Justice, built in King Rama VI?s reign. The building pertains Ratanakosin initial age?s art made of the golden teak wood adorned with European-Thai arts combination, outstanding plank perforated in beautiful decorative designs in every part of the building, it has been registered as a national historical place. Kanchanaphisek Park
This place is the first water park of Thailand, built to celebrate the honour of the His Majesty the King on the 50th year anniversary of his coronation day. The outstanding building is named Viman Sarannawamin is the hall pavilion with the pointed crown structure, it is situated amid the big pond that make a very beautiful scenery and it is the royal relaxation place when coming to perform royal ceremonies nearby.
