This district is famous as the Thai - Raman cultural center which its unique identity in forms of monasteries, structures, house and handicrafts, delicate fine decorative pottery which express the identity of Mon rooted Thai people. Ko Kret
This is quite a big isle amid of Chao Phraya River being famous as the center of Thai - Raman (Mon) Culture. The isle was originated from the canal dug to shortcut the flow of Chao Phraya in King Thaisa of Ayutthaya in 1722, the canal was named ?Khlong Latkokretnoi?. Later the mainstream deviated its flow direction, the canal banks were eroded and the canal was widened to become the mainstream of Chao Phra

Wat Paramaiyikawat Varaviharn
This monastery was previously called ?Wat Pak Ao?, Mon people call it ?Phiamukia Toeng?, within the monastery, there is a big reclined Buddha image having specially distinct characteristics from the other and this temple also the main Buddha Image so called ?Phra Nonthamunin? regarded as the marked Buddha image of Nonthaburi and the archive place of Tripitaka (Three baskets of Buddha?s Teaching) the first Mon language version of Thailand. In this monastery, there are three trees planted together and they grow and tie in thread together for more than 100 years and a pagoda called Phra Chedi Mutao (Slant Chedi) which is the distinct identity of Ko Kret. Pottery Handicraft Group of Ko Kret
This village is the community most people earn living particularly on pottery concerned affairs. The pottery are created for both utensil and decoration purposes, fine adorned earthen ware which symbolizes the uniqueness of Nonthaburi Province and visitors can admire Thai art decorative applied earthen pot, it is worth than one million baht made by skillful artisan who succeeds handcraftsmanship from his ancestors. There is carving demonstration on pots by and pottery process by skillful Mon people.

Khlong Khanomwan Community (Khlong Bang Buathong)
This community is the source of Thai desserts , especially 9 kinds of ones believed to be the auspicious ones such as Jamongkut, Thong-Ek etc.. At present, nearly all households of villagers who live along both banks of the canal have occupation on preparation of desserts for whole and retail sale and they are willing to demonstrate the dessert preparation to tourists who can see and taste the products of excellently delicious desserts. Wat Phailom
This monastery was built in the ending days of Ayutthaya Age. It has the very beautiful temple, in front of the temple situated 2 middle size chedi or pagoda in Raman style with stucco decoration. Mon people call this monastery ?Phiahtoh?. Tel. 0-2584-5076.

Wat Saothongthong
This monastery was previously called ?Wat Suan Mak?, the establishment place of the highest chedi of Pak Kret District, built in Ayutthaya art that its base projected inward to form twelve corners around, surrounded by two rows of small chedi or stupa , by its sides having 2 big chedi built in bell-shape (Langka Styles) and star-apple planned style. Wat Chimphli
This monastery was previously named ? Wat Pa Fai?, it was an ancient monastery built in mid-Ayutthya age. It, nowadays, has a very beautiful small church, the church foundation is curvy as Chinese junk, the temple gable has wood-carving work in the statue of the God of Moon riding the chariot. Visitors can pay homage to Maha Chulamani Chedi which inside containing three things of Lord Buddha, namely, turban, hair and his right tooth. Tel. 08-9966- 9883.

Wat Ko Phaya Jeng
This monastery was previously called ?Wat Ko Raman? built by Phaya Jeng Mon army commander who fled Burmese power to live in Thailand. It temple wall painting made by the artisan of Ratanakosin?s initial days. Within the temple, there is reclined Buddha image imitated to the lord at Parinippan ? dying moment with his two legs protruded out of the coffin, made according to the belief of Mon people and there also is the monument of mostly saddened heart of King Rama V on Queen Sunantha Kumarirat passing away. This monastery is situated in the flood plain by the Lat Kret River built in Ayutthaya Age, it temple has the main Buddha Image in Marawichai style, overlapped footed sitting width is 1.50 meters and there is 198 meters reclined Buddha Image in the monastery.
